Dr. Shelest hails to us from the distant land of Plainfield, IL where she has lived since 2006. She attended Aurora University where she studied Biology and Parasitology. Dr. Shelest made the decision to pursue Chiropractic school due to her long battle with headaches and “fibromyalgia,” once it became apparent that all of the medications she had been prescribed were doing little to relieve her pain and had even begun to contribute to new ailments. Dr. Shelest attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL and graduated in 2019 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine and Acupuncture Certification.
Dr. Shelest has since successfully treated patients with various conditions, but jumps with excitement and enthusiasm whenever a headache sufferer crosses her path. Aside from her passion of saving souls from interminable pain, she loves teaching her patients about the value of maintaining good health and preventative care.
On her free time, Dr. Shelest loves to hang out with her dog Berkley (aka B-Diddy) and take him for long walks. He is a sweet little pooch who—some say— gets his therapeutic skills from her.
